FINALLY FINISHED!

This one took a LOOONG time. tbh the sketch was actually done before I even started my Eternal Sailor Mercury pic.... whiiich was probably around last June? XD and here it is, a day before December... lol, so it's been a long time in the making. ...but in my defense, after Sailor Mercury I had my focus on commissions for quite a while, but always worked on this a teeny bit in the background. Finally I got the time to sit my butt down and finish it. I hope it was worth the wait. XD

So for this image, going with my theme of these images showing them with their trademark items/weapons/things that make them unique (Sailor Moon with her wands, Venus with her chain, Mars with Phobos and Deimos, Mercury with her computer and visor), included in this drawing is a unique aspect of her outfit/design, which is her lightning antennae. I wavered around for a long time wanting to draw her little orb filled with rose petals or whatever, that she has earlier on in the manga, but eventually had to decide against it because it disappears when she becomes her eternal form. So the antennae it was.

...as for the background, it's a forest of oak trees- as Sailor Jupiter's element revolves around electricity as well as nature/plants, and more specifically playing onto her one attack, "Jupiter Oak Evolution" I felt like she has a deeper connection to oak trees more than any other type of tree, so I thought it would be fitting to show her amongst oak trees. ...and lightning. It was also really fun to do the dramatic lighting.
