This is a commission I completed for RedFyreDragon, of their character-  Kathalu!


Kathalu is a gentle young lady with an innocent essence that blossoms around her like some translucent flower. She is the youngest of all the ladies, and she fits into the dark dragon world because she does not fit into it at all.  Her dress has an "Endless Midnight" theme, and the darkest blue tone of her dress is the same color as the coat of Vortex, her Phantom Stallion!



omg I just loved working with the colors on this one~~  and the sparkly stars on the bottom of the dress, and her curly wavy hair~~ asdfdgffwdsfakfgk Overall, I really enjoyed doing this one!  Blue pallettes are always my favorite to work with    ~and dem sparkles..~~

Drawn and colored using Painttool SAI, finishing touches done using Photoshop CS2, all using Wacom Intuos4 Tablet.
